Casey and Trace were married October 29th at beautiful Locust Hill in Tuscumbia, Alabama. This was our first wedding at the historic 1823 home and I hope it is not the last! The venue was absolutely gorgeous and Casey’s romantic and rustic theme was perfect. Light pink, ivory, and champagne touches were used through out the decor and burlap, vine wreaths, and Spanish moss mirrored the vintage feel of the homestead.

Yes, her shoes had the same ruffled rosettes as her gorgeous gown from The Something Blue Shoppe in Hartselle, AL.

Something Old: A personalized handkerchief Casey had given her father many years ago was pinned to the skirt of her dress.

Here is Casey’s memory of their first look: “Trace and I enjoyed our wedding day very much. Since we chose to take pictures before the ceremony, we had a special moment on the porch of the house where we saw each other for the first time that day. I was very careful during the wedding planning process and did not tell Trace anything about my dress or even how I was going to wear my hair. That made this moment even more special. Even though he told me later that my hair was “really poofy”, he loved my dress, hair, and everything! haha

I thought this idea was so cute! And delicious! A ice cream cart where you could make your own sundae! Love the personalized sign too!
